Apparently, The Tattler did good enough for you to log on, pull up the URL, obtain a user name and write in, Lynn. Apparently, you don't understand the definition of the word demise. It means death, and The Tattler is still among us, alive and well, in no small part thanks to people like you.

The Tattler hurt no one. I challenge you to name one person who died, who had to be hospitalized, whose relationship was destroyed or whose life was forever changed because of The Tattler. People cannot be hurt, particularly by something of this nature ONLINE, unless they ALLOW themselves to be hurt. It's a conscious decision and a foolish one if they do take it so to heart that they're 'hurt'. That The Tattler impacted our lives is not in dispute. They gave us something to look forward to each day, something to talk about, laugh about and most importantly, think about. Our human foibles, narrowmindedness, pack instinct, hatreds, foolishness and yes, sometimes outright stupidity was pointed out, but always in a well-written, humorous and at times brilliant manner. The Tattler also went out of their way to show us the human kindness and compassion of those among us too. I feel sorry for you, Lynn. In the famous words of Godot, "You just don't get it."

Hey Chickenhawk....read before you write. I never said the TATTLER killed, or hospitalized anyone????? I said the "tattler's demise" (gone and dead)!!! I also don't think people... as you put it. make a conscious decision" to choose to be hurt, you idiot. As for the tattler being finished...you played a part in it. Lord knows, she/he should have ended it before vacation...listening to your endless dribble for 2 weeks..was the grand finish for the tattler. Even the tattler had to cut you short...they tired of your novels e-mailed to them. As for Godot...his more famous words were "You fuckin* idiots"....get it hawk???

Isafellah, apparently you STILL suffer from a lack of reading comprehension. The Tattler isn't dead, because YOU along with me and others are keeping The Tattler alive blogging here. As for hurting people ONLINE (which went right over your pinhead), you surely DO have a choice about keeping your perspective or allowing it to fly out the window along with your brains. Paltalk is a CHAT PROGRAM, no more, no less. If I allowed myself to be injured by the words of someone I'll never meet and who'll never be part of my life, then it's my fault. You are nothing to me except words across a screen and an irritating voice with a 10 year old picture on your profile. I know, even if you don't, that you have no power to impact my life --good OR bad unless I LET you. You don't control how I feel, how I look, how much money I make, who my friends are, where I go, what I do, what I think, how I vote or what I say. Get it? So, please, keep it up because it doesn't bother me. WHat it does is show that The Tattler, whoever they are, got under YOUR skin and must've really nailed you good. I appreciate you continuing to write about them. Thank you.
